Staropolski Tradycyjny Trójniak is the first Polish mead to boast the European label Traditional Specialty Guaranteed. It is a superior-quality liquor with a wonderful taste and aroma.

The “APIS” Beekeepers’ Cooperative in Lublin is the only Polish producer to have successfully passed the verification of compliance with Trójniak mead (a Traditional Specialty Guaranteed product) production specification, carried out by the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection (IJHARS).

This type of mead is produced from honey mash created by mixing 1 part honey with 2 parts water.   It needs to mature for about 2 years. It contains 14% alcohol.
