How to serve mead

In order to enjoy the perfect taste and aroma of mead, you can either drink it at room temperature or in the mulled form, with the addition of cloves and cinnamon. However, mead is a versatile liquor, perfect for easy-to-make, delicious, and refreshing drinks. What else can you choose as a liquid refreshment or to make your outdoor family or friend meeting even more enjoyable?

MIODOHITO (HONEYHITO)
  • 100 ml Dwójniak Kurpiowski mead
  • 90 ml tonic
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • ice cubes
  • slice of lemon or lime and mint leaves for decoration
Miodowe Orzeźwienie (Honey Refreshment)
  • 80 ml Trójniak Piastowski mead
  • 40 ml non-carbonated mineral water
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml Grenadine

 

Serve with ice cubes and lemon slices.

 

Mead tastes great in the summer, too!

Grzaniec Miodowy (Mulled Mead)
  • 750 ml Trójniak mead
  • 150 g polyfloral honey

 

Spices:

  • approx. 0.6-0.7 g cloves
  • approx. 0.6-0.7 g cinnamon
  • approx. 0.6-0.7 g nutmeg
  • approx. 0.6-0.7 g ginger
  • approx. 0.2-0.3 g vanilla bean
  • approx. 0.07 g black pepper

 

Heat mead to 50-55oC, add polyfloral honey, stir, add spices and keep at about 55oC for the next 5-7 minutes with the lid on.
Drink while warm and repeat to make another one 😉

Zapomnienie (Oblivion)
  • 50 ml Bernardyński Trójniak mead
  • 50 ml tonic
  • 5 ml lemon juice

 

Serve with ice cubes and lemon slices.

Nic nie robić (Do nothing)
  • 50 ml Kurpiowski Dwójniak mead
  • 30 ml rum
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • pineapple slice
Wiosenny czar (Spring Magic)
  • 80 ml Korzenny Czwórniak mead
  • 60 ml non-carbonated mineral water or apple juice
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • a few drops of mint flavouring
  • lemon slice
  • optionally, mint leaves for decoration
Sarmata Kusiciel (Sarmatian the Seducer)
  • 60 ml Kurpiowski Dwójniak mead
  • 30 ml vodka
  • 10 ml grapefruit juice
Marzenie Jadwigi (Jadwiga’s Dream)
  • 40 ml Jadwiga Półtorak mead
  • 20 ml vodka
  • 20 ml rum
  • 40 ml tonic
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • pineapple slice
  • orange slice
