07 Aug THE APIS STAND DURING THE 2017 JAGIELLONIAN FAIR
In 2017 Lublin celebrates the 700th anniversary of the location of the city. This was the basis for extensive celebrations, and the centre of the city, from the Litewski Square to the Castle Hill will be turned in a grand stage for events that will tell the story of the magnificent heritage of Lublin, and its multicultural tradition, with planned participation of many contemporary authors and artists from Lublin and Europe.
The great Jubilee coincides with the 85th anniversary of the Apis Beekeeping Cooperative, and that is why on the next weekend of 12-15 August we will jointly celebrate at the Jagiellonian Fair. The spaces of the Old Town will be the stage for folk art and crafts by artists from Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania and Belarus.
