Produced from a mellow nectarous honey, with the addition of plum must. To complement the characteristic bitter-sweet aftertaste, it is seasoned with spices.

This type of mead is produced from honey mash created by mixing 1 part honey with 2 parts water.   It needs to mature for about 2 years. It contains 13% alcohol.
